What to do after a 365 photo challenge? You start another one (I'm already at day 40)!!! But most importantly, you take your favourite 100 pictures and you have them printed in a cute little book. How fun is that :)

Looking for time

I love lists...written lists but mostly mental lists. Things that I want to get, things that I want to make, things that I want to see...things that I need to do. Making a little project, any project, with my sewing machine was part of every mental lists that I made. Sadly, it seems that there are not enough hours in a day. However, I decided that sometimes you just HAVE TO MAKE time in order to be happy. This little tea wallet is my first sewing project in more than a month. It was about time! Next on my list: answering the lovely comments that I got over the past two weeks. Ok, make it three weeks!

Recess is over!

I'm now back to work. Nine to five. Monday to Friday. Sleep, walk the dog, work, walk the dog and start over the next day ;)

Ok, it's not that bad! Not at all actually! I really like my new job (communication and marketing coordonator for an non profit organization that promotes sustainable transport in Montreal). It's just that, call me lazy, but I would much rather stay at home and craft all day long. But somebody has to pay for all that nice yarn and beautiful japanese fabric!

Speaking of nice yarn...now that I'm almost fully adapted to my new routine I had time to finished a lovely pair of fingerless mittens. My first project with double pointed needles! Well, I failed at another pair of mittens a few weeks ago but that's ancien history!
