If London was a woman...

If London was a woman, she would probably have a high profile career. She would wake up early in the morning and stay up late at night. She would wear classic suits but would accessorize with the right dose of colours. If London was a woman, she would live at a fast pace but would take the time to stop and smell the flowers at St. James's Park. She would also buy sexy knickers at Agent Provocateur but would keep them for special occasions!

During our stay in London, we saw a lot of tourists with big cameras, we freaked out whenever we purchased something (can it be more expensive?), we got lost even if we had a map, we had bad hair day everyday because of the wind and we ate hot dogs without relish (a sin really)!

However, during our stay in London, we walked through beautiful gardens, we listened to bloody murder stories at the Tower of London (best guide ever), we relaxed in sling chairs for hours, we visited Tate Modern (fine, I liked the gift shop more than the actual museum...I'm not that cool you know!) and I got my very first pair of Camper shoes for 50 quid...a dream come true!

Fifty quid for campers - now you're speaking my language. Oh how I can't wait to get a new pair when I go back for Christmas!

I love your photos!!! You are going to share more right?! The one with the shoes is freaking adorable. I love the one with you in front of the piece of art too.

I think your description of London as a woman is pretty correct - expensive it is though!!

Camper shoes for £50 is pretty good - we want to see them though!

I got a new pair for about £59 recently - just plain black for work but with bright yellow soles!! Had to have the Camper twist somewhere! Wonder if they will be cheaper in Spain later in the year??

OOoooo! You lucky, lucky girl!!
I loved this post.
When we lived in England our school classes went to London for field trips all the time!! (we lived about 40 min. away) We went to the Tower of London, in fact. I had a few bad dreams afterwards...thankfully the images of the scarey bits have somewhat left me...:) But, I always LOVED going to London...thanks for the pictures!
Happy day,
Jo-Anne

I love going to Tate modern for the walk along the river, but much prefer Tate Britain for the art. I think your right London is life in the fast lane, but there are some like me who potter at a much slower speed! So glad you enjoyed it though, did you visit Liberty (my favourite shop)

I love your description of London. It's spot on! The gardens... beautiful. I was just saying yesterday to a friend that I'd give anything for an english garden.
