I heart knitted hats...

but I also think that circular needles look like some form of medieval torture tool!!! So this is why I haven't joined the le'slouch beret bandwagon! Instead, I decided to try this hat from Drops Design. So easy! The only thing you need to do it a little bit of counting...well, I failed at that and had to start over 5 times (what, there is a lot of distractions)! But don't tell my husand, I still want him to think that I'm a superior being and that I can do many things at the same time ;)

You are just adorable Clo and your hat looks great. I tried to work with circular needles once for about half and hour, never again!! I really need to take a knitting class because all I know is the basic stitch.

Love the top photo especially. Great hat! I kind of wish I knew how to knit, but I have too many sewing projects I'd like to try before I take on a new craft....

it's very cute, and I don't like circular needles either, what I like is four or five double pointed needles instead, go figure!

Very cute hat. I don't knit hats much but when I do I like to use double pointed needles. They seem easier to manuever.

super cute hat. wouldn't know about circular needles, knitting is not something i can get a hang of and not for the want of trying. oh and i promise to keep the secret if you can keep it from my hubby too!!

I agree, you look nice with this hat, and the colour is perfect!
Don't worry about starting over many times. I'm making a little sweater and I had to start over... well, whatever...

i feel your pain! i never, ever start a knitting project without starting over at least twice, but more often it's 3-4 times...

oh, and the hat is awesome! and circular needles aren't so bad once you get the hang of them. :]

Clo,

I love the hat! It is so cute! I wish I could have the patience to make one. If I start losing hair, I'm gonna have to have you make me one or two. :)

I posted a new update on my blog about being in ICU and getting out of there last night.

Gotta run! Love the hat - the Color is great too!
