velvet = soft

Every little girl had, at a certain point in her life, a velvet dress that was only for special occasions (aka Christmas). Well, it seems that I just got a second chance at being a little girl this year. I made this dress with a soft vintage velvet that I got during a mother-daughter shopping day a few weeks ago. It was easy (most of the time) but I had to make things complicated because even if Wendy (built by Wendy pattern) said to take lightweight fabric...well...I didn't listen to her! Oh, and today is probably Christmas because I'm wearing my dress :)

Well done! It's lovely. I found some beautiful prussian blue velvet and thought of making dress...and then didn't. This is very inspiring, I think I will try it!
