3 squirrel posts in a row!!!

I never had any collections (a few stamps when I was little but nothing serious...mostly my dad "forcing" me to collect them!). However, when I look at the last few posts that I wrote I think that I have a little obsession with squirrels. However, do not fear, I'm not turning into the squirrel equivalent of a cat lady!!! I only have a few items that pay tribute to my favorite rodent! Anyway, my birthday in coming soon and Dan told me that I can take whatever I want on Etsy (+/- 100$ + shipping). So after many hours on Etsy (too many) I decided to have a custom made paper sculpture from Molly Jey. Perfect...yes, just perfect :)

p.s. Anybody has a softie squirrel pattern?

You picked a perfect gift - in the perfect place - if you ask me. It's so fine and elegantly made, and I love the way it looks simple with the lines and the white colour.

Such a sweet boyfriend, who obviously knows how to make a birthdaygirl happy :0)

Beautiful - I'm obsessed with paper art at the moment. And how about that squirrel tea cosy from Zakka Style?

Love the papercut! I think it is a perfect gift! I just saw the Zakka Home book last night and the squirrel tea cosy is cute and I am sure could be adapted by someone as clever as yourself ;o)

That paper sculpture is so beautiful — great choice! What an awesome husband. I also enjoy squirrels and think they are underrated in the animal kingdom. They're like the ninjas of the rodent family.

I love Molly Jey's things! Great pick for your birthday, and the best fun to pick out what you want!
You'll only be the crazy squirrel lady if you start collecting live squirrels in your home. If that starts happening we'll do an intervention!

happy birthday Clo. Hope you had a good one. Having a soft spot for an animal is only natural, not crazy. I solemly promise to send you all the scraps from the squirrel fabrics after I have finished with them. They are for Melinda (MPC) and Smooth. Slippers!! Tried very, very, hard to make my own softie/felt versions of said rodents and cover ready made slippers. I concede defeat. Only been working on the said suckers since September. Figured fabric slippers were much, much easier. :D Your choice of gift is amazing and the photos you have been taking with your camera are spectacular.

Happy belated birthday! Love the squirrels and I also wanted to say
congratulations on the new job. That's great! Are you your own boss? Regardless - I know that it will be better than where you were. Hope you had a great b-day!
Take and waiting anxiously for those copies. :)
