I fell in love with the fabric when I saw it at the store (vintage cottage style). However, the other day, I saw a homeless person that had one of those cheap plastic checks bags. Do you know what I'm takling about? It costs 1$, very big, perfect to carry empty bottles of soft drink!!! So, as a joke, my sewing teacher got me one of those bag! And I love it! Perfect for my fabric stash!
Oh, the vintage "mother of pearl" belt buckle is another present from my sewing teacher :)

Oh this is such a wonderful dress! I came to your site from Very Purple Person blog http://verypurpleperson.com/links
and I'm glad I did!
I love your work and I can tell you are passionate at what you do :)
I'll be keeping my eye on your blog that's for sure.
Oh and I wanted to ask you, you mentioned that your sewing teach bought you a bag. Are you in school?
The reason I ask is I am looking to join a sewing community in Montreal and well I have had no luck in finding one as of yet.
If you have any information or could point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

I love this dress! And that is just about the perfect fabric for it! I'm definitely going to try to make it myself!
This is so adorable! Great job, and now I want to make one too!
Wow, sometimes the blog world amazes me - I decided I wanted to start sewing again after many years. One of my blogs that listed a simple reversible bag pattern from verypurpleperson. I made the bag, and was looking for a skirt or dress to make next, and having no luck. Then I was perusing Flickr and came across your lovely bedroom photo, which brought me here, where I found this great dress, and a new blog to love! Thank you! :)
