Lets face it, we all need stuff. Some people need wwwaaayyyy more things than others but this post is not about patronizing shopaholics.
I enjoy living in a simple, optimal and organized environment. So I have this crazy tendency to over analyze every purchase that I make. Yes, I'm the kind of person who can spend a good hour trying to figure out what pair of socks I should buy. Ok, fine, I exaggerate but only a little bit!
To justify all that thought process (and to sound less crazy), I will share once in a while item that I actually have/use/enjoy....a coup de coeur (a cute French expression for "favorite").
And, big breath, this little exercise won't ever be related to kiddos. It is so easy, as mothers, to forgive ourselves and solely focus on our new "job". I'm Alice's mom but I'm also Claudia!

I'm not getting any younger, 33 next week (sigh) and the fact that I always had sensitive skin doesn't help the wrinkles/bags under my eyes (I could also add a couple words regarding sleep deprivation due to having a kid but that would be against this entire "project").
Anyway, for Christmas I asked for a organic nourishing serum from Marble and Milkweed. What can I say, most people asked for the latest ipad, I asked for a little positive influence on my body image!
Maybe it is psychosomatic but I find my under-eye skin to be already more radiant...or less zombie like. Plus, the lovely apothecary style is an extra motivation to use the product religiously.
Their rose and chamomile facial scrub will probably be next on my list...maybe a birthday present?
Have a great weekend!

I love this! Especially not being kid related. You're right, it's so hard not to be consumed by mommy-ness. Makes me want to look through my elongings to see what I REALLY enjoy :)
That sounds like a lovely product, I'm going to have to try some.
I think it's a great idea to discuss Claudia stuff it's nice to get to know you a little more.
I'm so glad that you're enjoying the serum, Claudia! And thank you for this wonderful reminder of how important it is to take truly good care of oneself...
Warmest wishes,
