A bit zen

When your life seems a little out of control (aka I need challenges in my life or I will have a nervous breakdown) , when new opportinities are making you slightly insecure (aka maybe an interview for a new job this week), when getting out of your comfort zone is almost the end of the world (aka the possibility of new people, new responsibilities, new dress code (?) etc.) ... well, it's time for a felting workshop!!!And what better way to relax than making some wool felt pebbles!!! So simple and so zen...and your hands are very soft at the end of the day ;)

You are taking over the world one craft at a time! Here I see another example of a new craft you seem to have perfected after one try:)

Lots of good luck wishes your way!

And there is surely nothing more soothing to hold during an interview than a felted rock! Brings new meaning to the term "worry stone" . . .

i completely agree. tonight i made a few felted balls, because my kitty just goes nuts for them. now i'm waiting for some soap to set, and hope to felt it before i can't stay awake anymore.

your stones are gorgeous!

Saw these on flickr, very zen! Someone gave me some felted pebbles and my middle son just thought they were the funniest thing ever. He thought the idea of felted pebbles was ridiculous....but what does he know, I think they are fabulous!

Those are great - I love the way they have the lines on, too.
