Mini me

I know that I will sound like a little brat but my Etsy shop is taking more time than expected on my daily schedule! I'm not complaining but soon I might beg my husband to needle felt acorns with me ;) Do you have the feeling that sometimes you just bite off more than you can chew? It happens to me all the time! Do you realise that I dropped out of yoga class because it was making me nervous to miss on some crucial craft time/blog time/photo time/pets time/ oh yes, husband time!!!

Anyway, I took a break and made a "mini me" from a Inside a Black Apple pattern. And why make things simple when you can make them complicated...stitch the entire doll and then realised that the face embroideries are not done yet!!! Oups ;)

Oh, I love her! I made up my own version very much like this a few weeks ago for my niece (forgot to take a picture which stressed me too). I had no idea there was a free pattern. I will take a look, thanks.
I ALWAYS bite off more than I can chew. I think that's half of the sick fun!

Hi Claudia. I love your mini-me doll. But wait, should she not be blonde??? (Have you had that hair appointment yet?)

P.S. I downloaded that pattern yesterday also and want to make some Xmas present dolls from it......

Your mini me is adorable. I remember seeing her on Martha and I have the pattern stashed away. Just haven't had the time to do anything lately. So I totally know how you feel. But I have to say that I'm really proud of you getting your Etsy up and running and that you are experiencing such success!

Your mini me is very cute. I always seem to bite off a lot too so I understand your frustration.

It is you! So adorable, and hang in there, life gets a little crazy and it's hard to find the balance between things you want to do and things you have to do.
