It happens to me once in a while. It normally takes a few months before I realised it but it’s already too late. I slacked! I slowly stopped caring. Suddenly I see neglected hair that could confuses a bird looking for his nest, badly plucked eyebrows luckely hidden under too long bangs, racoon eyes without concealer, sand paper skin, etc. And lets not forget the mismatched bras and panties, the fact that I don’t iron my clothes anymore and that I have holes in most of my socks. You know there is a problem when I’m worrying about getting hit by a bus. Not for medical reasons but because I fear the paramedics expression when they see how negelected I am!!! Baby, it’s makeover time! First stop: the hair stylist for a simple and sleek haircut. Let’s face it, I don’t fancy myself with an Amy Winehouse beehive ;)
Note: This is the "simplicity" photo that I will send to my swap partner.

Hey Claud,
You are so brave for admitting that on the www, I am very impressed. I think we all get that way sometimes, I have many low periods where I am just looking nasty. For whatever reason people just get comfortable and sometimes loose their will, but before you know it, your skin will be glowing and your hair will be shinny.
Don't be too hard on yourself. :-)
I have been thinking the exact same thing about myself! I looked in the mirror and was horrified by the condition of my hair and out of control eyebrows! I think every winter I come to this moment of realization where I think, how did I let myself get like this?!
Beautiful photograph! The "simplicity" theme is a great one for a photo swap. I wish I joined!
You are awesome for speaking aloud the thoughts and feelings that I'm experiencing too. Actually took the scissors to my hair last night and lopped off a couple of inches. Doesn't really look any better, but I feel better.
Ah! You just reminded me why my mother used to tell us not to have holes in our undies or socks! I think that you're in that "boy this winter is dragging on" phase that I remember feeling so well in Montreal during the months of February and March.. Your shot has charmed me...
Oh you just told my little secret! I too need some help. One day you look and the mirror and wonder who is looking back at you!
I know how you feel. Last month I made myself go out and get a fresh haircut, a manicure and a pedicure. Now if I could just keep my eyebrows in order, I'd feel better! Have with the "new you"!
