a toddler in Montreal @ local parks

Despite the multitude of cigarette butts, regular vandalism and used condoms in remote corners, our local parks are pretty awesome.

Our hood is rapidly changing. A lot of people compare it to Brooklyn (real estate agents even gave it a little New York-ish name to attract buyers : HOMA for Hochelaga Maisonneuve). We now have pawn shops next to cute bakeries and coffee shops, prostitutes next to hipsters and stolen bikes next to Mercedez.

Our hood is not for everybody because it still has a bad reputation (especially amongst my suburban friends) but I love its diversity and rave about it all the freakin time!

Next time: a toddler on Montreal @ toddler-mom yoga!
